Martin Kupp is professor for entrepreneurship and strategy at ESCP Business School, Paris and a visiting professor at the European School of Management and Technology, Berlin. His focus in research and teaching is on entrepreneurship, decision making under uncertainty, scaling ventures, competitive strategy and organizational creativity.
His recent publications have appeared in California Management Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Harvard Business Review, Financial Times, The Economist, and the Wall Street Journal. Martin started to use case studies in his teaching early on and then also started to write his own case studies. He has written more than 30 case studies, several of which have won prizes and are best sellers. In 2024 he made it to the list of the top 50 best-selling case authors by The Case Centre (No. 40).
In 2019 Martin co-founded the first continental European fusion start up, Renaissance Fusion.
Urs Mueller is Associate Professor of Practice at SDA Bocconi School of Management and visiting lecturer at ESMT Berlin. His focus areas in research and teaching are business ethics, corporate responsibility, sustainability and DEI – and he truly enjoys the opportunity to regularly discuss with executives the real dilemmas that they face in their daily lives.
Before joining the world of business schools, Urs studied German literature and linguistics, Philosophy and Art History – and then worked as a management consultant for Kearney.
Urs taught in and directed numerous open enrollment and company-specific executive education programs for customers such from around the globe and in several industries. Additionally, he regularly teaches in degree programs at various international business schools including Alba Graduate Business School (Greece), Antai/Jiao Tong (China), ESCP (Berlin Campus), Porto Business School (Portugal), and Saint Paul (Brazil).Urs is a best-selling and award-winning case author and serves as visiting tutor on writing and teaching with case studies for “The Case Centre”. In 2020, he was honoured as Outstanding Case Teacher.
